Windjammer has finished second on each of his last two starts but he can take his chance here and see off the challenge of his likely chief rivals Silca Elegance and Silly Gilly. This 3-year-old from the Tim Easterby yard was only narrowly beaten last time by Come What May and his overall form this season has been progressive. His yard are in form and he should take plenty of beating. Silca Elegance ran well for a long way before fading close home last time so this drop in trip should suit and with the ground not expected to cause him any problems he is considered. Silly Gilly is a long-standing maiden but she put in an improved effort last time to chase home La Vecchia Scuola. However, that was only a seller so she is hard to recommend with too much confidence. Grange Lilli has been a little disappointing of late and she has done all her winning on the all-weather so she is best watched today. We will therefore return to Windjammer who rates as a confident selection.
