This looks a relatively weak maiden so it would be no surprise if Ed McMahon's newcomer Sheer Vanity, who is from a decent family, was to go close on her debut. Annie Beach ran well for a long way in her first start at Redcar and should last a bit longer here if handling the softer surface but the experience of IDOLS EYE could finally see her get her head in front. She is improving with racing and her ability to stay further than this could be an asset given likely underfoot conditions. The others don't have much to recommend them.
