    Verdict

ESCOBAR is 8lb better off than when beating Mums Tipple over a mile at Ascot last October. He is possibly best over that trip but did nothing wrong on his reappearance at Thirsk. Angel Bleu was a dual Group 1 winner as a two-year-old, beating The Wizard Of Eye on one occasion, but is probably not in that class nowadays. Al Mubhir easily justified favouritism in a handicap at Leicester latest while the three-year-old Holguin shaped really well when only beaten a neck on a first try over 7f at Newmarket and has clearly trained on.
