        Verdict

        Finniston Farm has run four times around here and won three including on good to soft ground. He's only up 2lb for last month's victory on the track and has to be respected. LORELINA (NAP) has also won over the course and distance and it was heavy going when she completed a hat-trick here in September. She's been performing at a higher level subsequently and has gradually dropped to a winnable mark. Herculean made a winning racecourse debut on soft ground at Ascot in 2017 so the fact that he hasn't run since October isn't a problem. He's only had four runs so should be capable of further progress. Thistimenextyear has been running well over hurdles and won't mind the conditions so he's on the shortlist while Zzoro's last run on soft ground resulted in a victory at this grade at Epsom from just 2lb lower.
