A Boy Named Ivy was nibbled at in the betting at big prices over this trip at Ayr and justified the faith with an impressive victory. First Greyed overcame greenness to get up in the final strides over 6f at Hamilton so the extra will be in his favour. ALABLAQ made a bright start at Doncaster and came up against a smart performer when beaten 6 lengths on a return visit. He had Serious Intention a long way behind and can go one better while Paws For Thought had an odds-on chance in third when runner-up at Chepstow and could also figure.
