Kingscliff, Hours and Behrajan look the ones to concentrate on in another tough affair but the confident vote goes to Kingscliff. The gelding from the Robert Alner yard won well last timer out despite his left rein breaking when defeating Haut Cercy by an eased down six lengths. He will not mind this softer ground has plenty of scope for improvement and is taken to score. Hours rates the main danger he defeated Behrajan in a driving finish last time and is taken to confirm placings with that rival on slightly worse terms here. Behrajan will make a bold bid to make all the running but the long run in may catch him out. Gunner Welburn won well last time out when defeating Skippers Cleuch. However he will find this harder under his penalty in what looks a more competitive race. Kingsmark loves this track but he has not looked the same horse of late so can not be backed with any confidence. Of the remainder Artic Jack is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market. However with conditions to suit Kingscliff is taken to win this before going on to better things.
