This is not your average getting-out stakes as it features a number of promising young stayers. John Gosden arrives mob-handed with Jim Crowley renewing acquaintances with the hat-trick seeker Joshua Reynolds. Frankie had to get serious with Great Sound at Newbury but he seemed to get better the further he travelled. That pair make more appeal than Face The Facts but Winston C is worth a second look after a fair run in the Melrose at York. Mark Johnston saddles the top two in the weights and Hochfeld was impressive when making all at Newmarket but TIME TO STUDY is preferred today. Though he hasn’t raced since Royal Ascot, fitness is unlikely to be an issue for the son of Motivator who will handle any give in the ground. Further rain could also see Mistress Quickly, Archi's Affaire and Taxmeifyoucan run well.
