        Verdict

        Moyassar bolted up at Chelmsford having finished runner-up to useful juveniles previously at York and Newmarket. It would be no surprise if he won again but does have to give 3lb to the less-exposed METALLIC BLACK, who was an impressive debut winner at Pontefract. On that evidence, the extra furlong here won;t pose too many problems though he will need to settle better. Blyton has not progressed from a couple of seconds at the start of the summer but Grandstand is a likely improver having run green at Salisbury 12 days ago.

        Blyton 9-2 (9-8) Held up in touch, headway over 1f out, kept on well closing stages, never able to challenge, 3rd of 6, 6 1/4l behind Leading Spirit (9-5) at Newbury 6f (5) gf in Jul.

        Bring Us Paradise 20-1 (8-12) Started slowly, outpaced and always in rear, 8th of 11, 11 1/4l behind Urban Icon (9-0) at Windsor 6f stks (5) gd in May.
