Can Can Girl placed again upped to this trip at Redcar and won off a higher mark last year but ALPINE STROLL is probably on a fair mark nowadays and he’s a strong stayer accustomed to carrying big weights. Sharp Distinction won over the trip at Yarmouth last month and the maiden Alshadhian shapes as though he’ll stay. Double Oban won over 1m4f at Leicester in May and was second over 1m6f at Wolverhampton latest so is another for the shortlist.
