Sir Mark Prescott trained last year's winner and Between Us is not easily dismissed despite the step up in class and an 11lb rise in the weights. However, AAZIF also has a progressive profile as he went very close over 1m4f here last time and the half-brother to Group winning stayer Akmal looks sure to appreciate the longer trip. Courtesy Call, Flashman and Beyond Conceit were all off colour in the Melrose at York a fortnight ago but Mark Johnston's charge can figure if back to his best while Ex Oriente has decent claims on his recent victory at Newmarket. Muntasir is hard to predict so Lady Kashaan makes more appeal than the top weight and Southwell winner Cape Safari of the others.
