CELESTIAL FORCE was a fair third over a longer trip at Sandown after winning at Beverley. Well regarded last year, he’s come right back to his best lately and shouldn’t be far away in this. Glasses Up is interesting but the Ayr specialist still has plenty to prove over trips in excess of 1m2f. Medalla De Oro has only been raised 3lb for winning at Chester and Bollin Joan is 4lb higher than when beating a small field at Doncaster but she does have a good strike-rate so is probably a better bet than stablemate Appointed. Rake's Progress should also give a good account and Statuario looked to be coming to hand last month but Philip Kirby’s pair, Lady Camelot and December Second, are facing a stiff task at the head of the weights.
Lady Camelot (IRE) 9-2 (11-1) Mid-division, in touch 3 out, weakened well before last, 5th of 10, 29 1/4l behind Havingagoodtime (11-10) at Cheltenham 2m 1f hcp fll (1) gd in Apr.

Glasses Up (USA) 18-1 (9-0) Slowly into stride, held up towards rear, headway on inside over 1f out, stayed on inside final furlong, not pace to threaten, 4th of 9, 1 3/4l behind Nicholas T (9-12) at Ayr 1m 2f hcp (3) sft in Jul.
Celestial Force (IRE) 15-2 (8-12) Set strong pace, headed over 2f out, soon rallied, faded closing stages, 3rd of 10, 5 1/4l behind Saroog (9-9) at Ascot 1m 6f hcp (3) gf in Jul.
