Verdict

Alonso de Guzman arrives here in good form and he can win again; Raffish and Santando are the main dangers. The selection was a convincing winner here last time out and under the same conditions today he locks a rock solid bet to go in again. Depraux finished behind Alonso de Guzman last time and there is no obvious reason why the placings should be reversed this afternoon. Raffish won over hurdles when last seen out but he had previously been in good form on the level and he should give our selection the most to think about. Boxhall has had a light campaign this season and although he has plenty to prove at present, it may be unwise to discount him entirely. Alonso de Guzman should take all the beating and he is a confident pick.
