In depth

Verdict

An interesting contest with several well-bred and lightly raced types in opposition including recent maiden winners Sharpcut and Manoubi. The former scored over this trip at Pontefract and is clearly capable of a bold show but marginal TEAMtalk preference is for Manoubi. Sir Michael Stoute's charge needed every yard to prevail over 10f at Windsor and should show considerable improvement for the step up to this trip. Khams-Alhawas has been done no favours by the handicapper and had his limitations exposed last time but Fiza will handle the conditions and should not be overlooked.
