Dare To Dream is entitled to improve on her debut second behind Switcher here last month. But Tom Dascombe, responsible for the winner, should know where he stands with the Hannon filly in relation to newcomer VIOLA D'AMOUR. Closely related to useful two-year-olds Marina Of Venice and Maximus Aurelius, it would be no surprise to see the latter go close today. Al Jemailiya didn't look anything special when third at Ayr but several of the other debutantes are bred to win races including Godolphin's Mahkama, who is a half-sister to three winners, and Mark Johnston's Eraada. The Medicean filly is from the same family as Dubai World Cup winner Almutawakel among others. Proud Pearl, who cost $250,000 as a yearling, is another to keep on the right side.
