Sound Amigo's run in the previous race will be a pointer to the chances of Lucky Numbers, who beat him at Thirsk last month when subsequent Nottingham winner JADE finished in mid-division. Ollie Pears' filly was making her seasonal reappearance that day, however, and pulled too hard in a much better race over 7f at York last time. She can confirm Nottingham form with Piddie's Power and may have too much speed for penalised Catterick scorer Rusty Rocket and Redcar third Mon Brav, who would prefer softer ground. Last month's C&D winner Chiswick Bey can't be ruled out while Barkston Ash had The Nifty Fox behind when second to Amenable at Hamilton and could run into a place again with Trade Secret, Decision By One and Hopes N Dreams high enough in the weights now.
