A cavalry charge and Ela Re could put up a shock performance to see off Ellerslie Tom and Festive Chimes. Sue Smith's charge is potentially well treated in relation to his hurdling mark and having gone well when fresh, he could have a serious chance if consenting to set off with the field. Ellerslie Tom has done little wrong this year and should experience few problems with the prevailing going. Festive Chimes ran much better than her finishing position suggests at Catterick and has to be respected from an in-form yard. Mohayer has been tried on softer going than this so the market is watched on a switch to today's surface. Hold-up performer Capitana was crucified by the handicapper for a victory at Hereford and others could be better treated. Adopted Hero is making a long old trip up North so should be watched in the market for any signs of confidence. Sunday City and John Forbes look sure to be up there throughout. Of the remainder, Sasso is likely to be popular in the market given the presence of Tony McCoy, although his mount does have something to find on the book. A tricky race and Ela Re, who is likely to be a big price, is put up as a sporting option.
