Verdict

A competitive finale which sees the tough Maid In Manhattan bid to win her fifth race since the end of May. She steps up in grade here, however, and also carries a penalty. Global Falcon disappointed last time at Chelmsford and has no experience on ground this soft but Kensington Art arrives in peak form having followed up last month’s victory at Catterick with a success over 2m on Polytrack on Wednesday. FOLLOW INTELLO stayed on strongly on his first try over this trip here in July. A winner earlier at Newbury, he hasn’t been unduly punished by a 3lb rise. Theatro and Landa Beach should both be suited by the longer distance so can’t be ignored.
