      Verdict

      Mac's Power and Titus Mills look up against it on today's terms while Doncaster Rover and Yaa Wayl make little appeal on recent form. Navajo Chief and Set The Trend drop back in trip and the latter is preferred down in class but a chance is taken on PTOLEMAIC. He's been well beaten in Group races over longer trips either side of a close-up eighth over 7f in the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot where Bryan Smart's colt had Justineo well behind. The return to today's distance could bring with it a return to form and he gets a speculative vote.
