The ground will ask a few new questions of some of these and narrow preference is for GREEN PARK ahead of Quiet Elegance and Hamish McGonagall. Richard Fahey's gelding ran well last time out at Beverley and is effective under these conditions. He is on a good mark now and off his light racing weight and from a high draw he should run well. Hamish McGonagall acts with some cut but this is a whole new ballgame and he has a bit to prove off this new mark, whilst Quiet Elegance is very interesting. He is still immature but this drop back to five furlongs on soft ground looks ideal and he should be high on anyone's shortlist. Crimson Fern is holding her form well and the handicapper may not yet have her in his grasp, whilst Strike Up The Band and Hammadi should each be respected off their big weights. Swift Princess and Chief Editor both handle soft ground so each must be respected, however for the winner we will return to Green Park.
