Dandy Nicholls has an excellent record in this and though it's a long time since Strike Up The Band won a race he's now on a very fair mark and must be considered. Tyfos has a 6lb penalty to contend with as he attempts a hat-trick but his rider's claim will be a big help and it will be a surprise if he's not involved in the finish. CRUISE TOTHELIMIT was on a hat-trick at Ffos Las on Tuesday but was run out of it close home by the equally progressive Cape Classic. He has a C&D victory to his credit and his victory at Catterick last month was achieved when there was plenty of give in the ground so he will be difficult to beat here. Kevin Ryan has won this twice in the past four years and Oldjoesaid is well enough treated to give a good account.
