In depth

Verdict

Fayez has struggled since making a winning start at Ripon albeit in tougher races than this. Tommy Taylor won a maiden at York a fortnight ago and had gone close over course and distance on his earlier debut when second to LONDINIUM (NAP). The latter came up short under a penalty in a novices event here last time but should confirm running with Tommy Taylor on better terms now handicapping. Muirsheen Durkin landed a maiden at Beverley last month and makes most appeal of the remainder who all have a bit of catching up to do to get involved.
