In depth

Verdict

LADY LARA was thought good enough to go straight for the Albany at Ascot for her debut. She wasn't disgraced in finishing eighth and that form is head and shoulders above anything today's opposition has so far achieved. A newcomer looks likely to give her the most to think about with Mumtaza and Setai worthy of a second glance in the betting. Good Morning Lady is related to four winners, including the prolific Caustic Wit, and Flycatcher is a half-sister to six winners that include the smart Rosa Grace.
