In contrast, the Mary Reveley-trained Colourful Life races off virtually the same mark and is favoured to reverse the placings today. The seven-year-old also acts when there is plenty of give underfoot and he is taken as his stable's main hope today. With The Phair Crier likely to need the run and the ground going against Volano and Ososhot, Derivative may prove to be the best of the remainder.
