      Verdict

      Finn Class had Simply Shining back in fourth when scoring over today's distance on the main track here and should go well again, despite a 5lb rise. But the tough and consistent BIRDMAN makes more appeal given David O'Meara's charge ran another good race when narrowly beaten here on his latest start and Ryan Moore may well eke out further improvement. Flow and Marcret have looked high enough in the weights so far this season and Newmarket winner Amood failed to cope with a 7lb rise last time. Archie made a winning start at the track last year but failed to beat a rival on his reappearance.
