CHINESE SPIRIT came from a long way back to land second spot here last time when the winner established an early, unassailable lead. He was also a good second here the time before and his yard have found some form of late. This looks a decent opportunity, despite being nudged up 4lb for his latest effort. Temper Trap landed this contest last year and this could well be a long-term target as he came right back to form with a close fourth at Nottingham recently. He's actually 1lb lower than last year and is a real threat. Castle View is the only unexposed contender on show, has shown some promise and completes the shortlist sporting a first-time visor.
