Finity Run produced his best effort to date on heavy ground at Doncaster and he didn't appear to stay 1m6f last time. Three-year-olds have won the last two of these so he must be on the short-list. Stanley Rigby has won five times in his career, all at Southwell early last year. He suffered in the handicap as a result but looked on the way back at Beverley a couple of weeks ago. Grand Art is a chaser nowadays and wants further, the latter remark also applying to the veteran Terenzium who was behind today's rival LIVVY INN over a slightly longer trip here in June and it's Lucinda Russell's charge, who has been running poorly over hurdles, who can score again in conditions that suit perfectly.
