Verdict

Hard Solution and Quanah have both won three times around here and from higher marks and, though neither is in the best of form, they cannot be dismissed. Rajmeister won two of his last three in the spring, both on ground with plenty of give, so some rain would aid his cause. STAY SMART is just 3lb higher than when scoring on fast ground at Ayr so looks the one to beat unless the going eases. Imperial Khan won for the first time at Beverley last month but then ran moderately at Thirsk.
