      Verdict

Liberty Sky has taken a while to get her act together but followed an improved run at Ayr by making all over this course and distance. She's up 5lb but is likely to take some catching. SUR EMPIRE won a handicap at this level at Carlisle before just failing to cope with a 2lb rise on this track. She can get back on the winning trail though Nelson's Bay won't be far away as he's very consistent at this sort of level. Response takes a slight drop in grade but is still a maiden and Outlaw Torn has been beaten from lower marks recently.
