      Verdict

      SHALADAR repelled a strong challenge when opening his account over track and trip last time. That was his first outing over this far and he may well cope with a 4lb rise. Most of the remainder are old foes though Head Chef has disappointed since winning at Ripon where May Punch and Timbukone filled the places and Come On John finished further behind. Heights Of Aran has plenty to find with the selection while Spy continues to struggle.
