This is a really competitive handicap in which Iskander, Sir Bond, Mobane Flyer and Regent's Secret look to be the leading lights and the vote is given to Sir Bond. The selection has been in cracking form and his latest effort can be forgiven over this course and distance as he went for a run up the rail and was squeezed out. He had previously won well at Musselburgh and in his current mood he is difficult to overlook. Mobane Flyer has been knocking on the door of late and was a good second behind Lobengula at Ayr last time. He has his limitations but he is capable of making the frame, although he is held by one of today's rivals Iskander from a race at Carlisle back in May. Iskander ran well behind Snowed Under last time and will be suited by the return to this trip. He is another who should be capable of making the frame and like Mobane Flyer he is respected from a decent draw. Regent's Secret was a little unlucky in-running at Ayr and the booking of Jamie Spencer does catch the eye for this 5-year-old. However, we will stick with Sir Bond as our idea of the winner.
