      Verdict

      THUNDER LEGEND sets the form standard on the back of sound runs in Newmarket and Beverley maidens, the latter being an above-average contest for the track with the winner going on to run a good second in a Sandown nursery recently. Hugo Palmer is having a solid season and the Night Of Thunder colt looks the one to beat. Super Stars, a son of Sea The Stars, is obviously a newcomer of interest and the Johnston team enjoyed a good winner with a debutant at Yarmouth this week. Heights Of Aran progressed from his first to second run and completes the shortlist along with Gorak, for whom little went right on his Beverley debut.
