        Verdict

        Sound Of Iona was second over 7f at Newmarket on Saturday but this first try over a mile may come too soon. Golden Melody wouldn’t mind further rain but also looks vulnerable against less-exposed three-year-olds. A winner at Yarmouth last month, BEAUTIFUL SECRET (NAP) did nothing wrong when fourth behind Crystal Caprice on good to soft at Ascot subsequently and can get the better of fellow Newmarket raider Shampion, who has been racing over further but did beat the subsequent Kempton maiden winner Spanish at Windsor last month. Scotch Mistress will probably require further improvement to get back to winning ways.
