        Verdict

        THE GAY BLADE finished runner-up over track and trip last time and may prove the one to side with. Elladora wasn’t far behind the selection in third but was also beaten by Blazing Son at Redcar last year when the latter recorded his only win on Turf so far. Mighty Gurkha won on fast ground at Leicester in June while Ramon Di Loria placed over the minimum trip recently without threatening.
