      Verdict

      KRAKEN POWER has the form in the book with a debut second at Pontefract when beaten only a head. Normal progress should see him go very close again and he’s preferred to Time Has Wings, who may benefit for the step up in trip. Salsoul is out of a winning sprinter and should be noted representing Mark Johnston’s yard while Abduction and Bergerac also travel up from Yorkshire and are others to keep an eye on in the betting ahead of Peely Wally.
