Verdict

A trio of three-year-olds take on older rivals, who have all won here in the past. Derwent Boy looks the pick of the younger generation and his yard enjoy a healthy strike-rate here. Glorious Rio is preferred to Captain Vallo and Iris Dancer at the weights but trail-blazer ELLADORA may well reverse recent course and distance running with the latter on this slightly slower surface, despite less favourable terms.
