      Verdict

      This is a shocker and DARRINGTON only gets the vote as he's won on soft ground and drops into plating company for the first time. Biff Johnson is rated 1lb lower but has to concede 15lb so faces a very stiff task and he was beaten in a York seller last time. Istimraar had been running poorly over hurdles before beaten at this level at Chepstow though he did run better than expected that day. Thornaby Nash has been racing in better company without really showing much but has a chance on last week's run in a Carlisle handicap.
