Verdict
Alan Berry won this last year and the topically named C&D winner Economic Crisis is likely to be popular again but SHARP SHOES would be an obvious player if he consents to put his best foot forward. Ann Duffield's inmate was not really entitled to trouble Fol Hollow in a recent claimer at the course but he does possess plenty of pace about him. He would need to reverse form with Distant Sun on that performance, and Linda Perratt's charge is a very real danger having won off a 10lb higher mark over C&D in the past. Alpha Tauri has shown his first piece of form for David Griffiths, and having watched him finish second on his most recent visit to Hamilton, the handler drops him to the minimum trip in order to go one better.
