Favourites have won three of the four renewals and PRINCE GAGARIN will likely start somewhere near the head of the betting. Ed Dunlop's charge tried forcing the issue from the front when third at the Curragh to Curvy and the latter went on to land the Ribblesdale at Ascot. Forte was well beaten by Curvy last time and Festive Fare never threatened in a Group 2 at Ascot with a below par Magic Dancer behind. The former is still preferred to Godolphin's other runner Maftool, whose Group 3 win at Meydan came over a mile, while Medrano continues to come up short in pattern company though is usually on the premises. Red Tornado is better than he has shown for Harry Dunlop so far judged on last year's form in France.
