Verdict

A really tricky handicap with many variables, such as whether the real Spirit Of Wedza, the sole three-year-old on show, will turn up. He receives weight from his main opponents and will go close at his best but his form profile does send out mixed messages and he's reluctantly passed over. Munjally gained a first career success over course and distance this month and should be a player under similar conditions off a 2lb higher mark. Jacob's Pillow is respected on the back of an improved recent effort here behind Munfallet but there are couple of fascinating players to note. David Nicholls drops Orion's Bow, formerly with John Gosden, to sprinting for the first time in his career after a good effort over 7f at Newcastle latest and Ann Duffield adopts the same approach with SONG OF NORWAY and the latter is a narrow preference. The Halling filly has gone well on all three starts this term and her style of running suggests she could really appreciate the move to sprinting.
