Golden Nun made a pleasing introduction but never found his stride when fancied in minor company at Chester and should do better on this more conventional track. Steelaninch is another who shaped as though an extra furlong would suit when a staying-on third behind Tizzy May (winner has won again since) and looks a threat to all while Queen's Gift was badly outpaced at Chester last time and is yet another who will appreciate the step up in distance. Dave Best, who was outclassed on his debut, will fare better here from a high draw and looks the pick of the remainder.
