    GLAD TIDINGS looks the one to beat on his second over today's trip at Ripon. David O Meara's charge never looked like catching the winner but that it still the best piece of recent form on offer. Billy Ranger finished ahead of Frightened Rabbit when third here earlier but both have been well beaten subsequently while Charlie's Approval has even less to recommend her.
