A very competitive affair for this listed race and there is not much between the main protagonists. Compton Bolter is sure to have his supporters after his good second behind Asian Heights in a group 3 last time. However he is hard to win with and we prefer to take a chance on Red Wine. The gelding from the Jamie Osborne yard has been in fair form over hurdles during the winter and with conditions in his favour he looks a value bet. Dusky Warbler is another that could go well but he gave the impression when fifth in a bumper at Navan last time out that he will be seen to even better effect over a longer trip on softer ground . Bourgeois is another that could go well he won well on his debut this season than was a fair fifth in the Chester Cup. The drop back in trip is sure to suit and he will not be far away. Stunning Force was winning handicaps at the end of last season and needs to improve to score. However he is in the right hands to do so. The remainder need to improve on there latest efforts to trouble the judge.
