MORE BEAU went close to winning at Newcastle on his return from nearly two years off the track and first start for Dandy Nicholls. He looks up to scoring off his current mark and is preferred to Malvia, who posted his best effort to date when second at Windsor recently. Royal Connoisseur won an apprentices’ race at Ripon but disappointed off the same mark over track and trip last time while the veteran Rasaman is better over 7f nowadays as when scoring at Musselburgh a week ago.
