Verdict

Mandarin Spirit looks up against it on these terms, but only 3lb separates the remainder on official ratings. NORTHERN DARE has gone close on the last two occasions he's raced in this grade and Richard Fahey's charge is taken to make the most of the weight concession he receives from Sands Of Dee. The latter has the best recent form with a close-up third over C&D last time, while Dancing Freddy ran into a place at Leicester last Saturday. Patch Patch disappointed in a seller last time, however, and Boundless Spirit remains out of sorts.
