      In depth

      Verdict

Aqwaam, who ran very well when runner-up at Doncaster last weekend, missed a race at Chester on Friday for this. Derry Lad travels over from Ireland and a recent second over a trip too short on heavy ground at Navan puts him in the picture. Faylaq reappeared with a fine run over 1m5f here last week and has been left on the same mark while CROESO CYMRAEG will have found 1m2f just too short when runner-up at Windsor and is back on the same mark as when last successful. Don't Look Back only just failed to get up over the track and trip last weekend so has to be on the shortlist.
