JOBE was very highly regarded in his younger days and came back to something approaching his best when comprehensively out pointing the consistent pair Frequency and Ingleby Arch over C&D last week. Despite his penalty, Kevin Ryan's gelding is probably still a step ahead of the handicapper and can score again. Karaka Jack has been knocking on the door and ran the much-improved Dickie Le Davoir to a neck at Haydock last month when Great Charm was in arrears. Grissom, second off today's mark at Ripon at the start of the month, should also be winning soon but may find the selection has too much for him at the weights here.
