Sharp Defence went close in a claimer at Dundalk last month when trained by Andrew Hughes and the latter runs a recent acquisition Zig Zag Zyggy, who scored over the minimum trip here last year. Buccaneers Vault looks a shade high in the weights though is still preferred to Logi but TOMMY G may be the one to side with. The latter finished runner-up over the minimum trip on the all-weather last time but has done all his winning over longer distances and Danny Tudhope’s presence suggests a big run is expected from Jim Goldie’s charge today.
