A very nice prize has attracted a strong field of in-form performers. Lincoln Rocks has won five times and looked better than ever at Musselburgh, though that was on very quick ground. Ionization has been going well and is surprisingly on a lower mark than when beaten a head at Haydock while Nicholas T scored at this level at Ayr and is only 3lb higher. Gulf Of Poets has completed a four-timer though at a much lower level and he's up another 6lb but Highland Colori, who has 10 victories to his credit, is on the same mark as when landing a Class 2 handicap at York in October. WEEKEND OFFENDER ended the last campaign with a victory at this level on the Knavesmire and made a promising comeback at Nottingham in April. The absence is a bit of a concern but, if ready, he looks well enough treated to regain the winning thread.
