Baraweez has been a wonderful servant to the Brian Ellison yard and will no doubt be heading for his annual visit to Galway after this. He's won there off a higher mark in the past and is in terrific form, though may find the ground a bit lively. The stable also run FIRST FLIGHT (NAP), claimed after winning easily at Wolverhampton then making a successful debut for the yard at Ayr. He won off a much higher mark in his Godolphin days and looks set for a hat-trick. Balestra, beaten narrowly by the selection on his hat-trick bid, has to be greatly respected on the revised terms while Regulator, who was running in Listed contests last season, made a decent start in handicaps at Ayr last month. Irish challenger Carbon Dating, who was racing in Dubai over the winter, may find this on the short side while compatriot Lucky Mistake has been a beaten favourite in his last three starts on ground with plenty of give.
