    Verdict

Viewforth, three times a winner on this track last month, is sure to have his supporter's, but he has far more to do off this mark and may find Gdansk a tough nut to crack. He comes here on the back of a sound run behind Soba Jones, with the third 5 lengths further back. Awake, well handicapped on his old form, would certainly be a danger at his best, while Downland looks to be in the grip of the Handicapper.
